National News: India’s historic strike against Pakistan and PoK saw more than 100 terrorists killed, marking a turning point in the country’s security strategy. This action, named "Operation Sindoor," was more than just a military operation. It was a message to Pakistan, showing that India’s response would now be both swift and decisive. Prime Minister Narendra Modi played a direct role in the naming and timing of the mission, showcasing his resolve to take bold steps in the fight against terrorism.

Strategic Discussions Leading Up to the Strike

PM Modi’s decision to launch Operation Sindoor was preceded by intense consultations. In the hours before the strike, he had a crucial meeting with National Security Advisor Ajit Doval. This meeting, held just before the bombs fell, was pivotal in finalizing the strategy that led to India’s decisive action against terrorist targets in Pakistan.

Pahalgam Attack as the Catalyst for Action

The deadly terrorist attack in Pahalgam on April 22, which resulted in the loss of 26 lives, became the tipping point. The attackers, targeting civilians based on their religion, stirred outrage across the country. The demand for a strong response to Pakistan intensified, and PM Modi decided that a clear message needed to be sent to Islamabad.

Swift Response to Terrorism: The Saudi Arabia Incident

Upon hearing of the Pahalgam attack, PM Modi cut short his visit to Saudi Arabia and returned to India. His immediate focus was on formulating a strategy to retaliate. The very same day, PM Modi convened an emergency Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) meeting, ensuring that India’s military and intelligence agencies were on high alert.

Meetings with Military Chiefs to Greenlight the Operation

Following the CCS meeting, PM Modi held separate discussions with the chiefs of the Army, Navy, and Air Force. He empowered them to act decisively without hesitation, granting full autonomy to target Pakistan’s terrorist infrastructure. This led to the execution of Operation Sindoor, which successfully neutralized several terrorist camps in Pakistan and PoK.

The First and Last Meeting with Doval

In the crucial moments before the operation, PM Modi consulted with Ajit Doval to ensure the precision and effectiveness of the operation. The meeting, held late at night, set the course for the strike. After the operation was executed, the next morning, PM Modi again met with Doval to discuss the results and map out the next phase of the strategy.

A Clear Message to Pakistan: India Will No Longer Remain Silent

Operation Sindoor has redefined India’s approach to counterterrorism. It was not merely a military strike; it was the embodiment of India’s new security doctrine, where actions replace words. The operation has sent a clear message to Pakistan – the era of diplomatic condemnation is over, and now India will take strong, decisive action when necessary.

A New Era of Military Strategy Under Modi’s Leadership

With Operation Sindoor, Prime Minister Modi has sent a powerful signal: India will no longer tolerate terrorism emanating from its neighbors. This is the first step in India’s new strategy to tackle terrorism, and it is unlikely to be the last.
